Built c.1766, The Osceola Mill House Bed & Breakfast is located in the middle of Amish Country in Paradise Township. Our antique limestone mansion rests on the banks of the Pequea Creek in a quaint historic setting adjacent to a 1757 mill and a mid-19th century miller’s cottage. The Mill House is surrounded by Old Order Amish farms and less than 5 minutes from the popular village of Intercourse in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

The Mill House has been lovingly preserved over the centuries with respect for the history of the home while including all of the modern amenities to assure you a comfortable and relaxing stay.  Whether you are traveling to Lancaster PA for the Dutch Country attractions and entertainment, the unique shopping opportunities, or a much-needed romantic getaway, you will find our location off the beaten path and yet just minutes away from it all.  With our home-like atmosphere, not to mention our three-course country breakfast, we will prepare you to best explore all that Lancaster has to offer.

Osceola Mill House Blog ...

I have always loved dogwood trees.  Among my earliest memories is sitting under the dogwood at my Grandfather’s house in Woodlawn, Baltimore County (coincidentally a block from Dogwood Road).  To my tiny self – it was this huge white canopy saving me from the harsh glare of the summer sun.

It was Sisters’ Day.  My friend Sadie, two of her sisters, and a niece were going up to another sister’s home in Ephrata to help her catch up with some sewing for her brood of babies.  Sadie called and asked me if I might have the time to ride them up there so that more time could be spent sewing and not in traveling in the carriage.
