Unique Amish Country Shopping

Every visitor to our area will eventually find the Route 30 Outlets. But here are our suggestions for a different retail experience.

Best Kept Secrets Tours

Unique adventures to help you find those off-the-beaten-path shops and eateries throughout the County.  Your ticket will give you a guide to your self-guided tour of participating small busiesses, access to the demonstrations and gifts provided by the shops, and a new perspective on Dutch Country shopping.

Countryside Road Stand

A beautiful spot to stop and enjoy a snack of soft pretzels and lemonade after perusing the quilts and crafts.

Good's Store

Good’s is a real old-fashioned General Store with a little bit of everything.  We affectionately call it the “Amish Walmart”.  Great for canning supplies and other home goods.  There are three locations in Lancaster, but we suggest the East Earl Store next to Shady Maple.

Riehl's Quilts and Crafts

The Riehl Family keeps this wonderful shop right on the grounds of their home.  A little off the beaten path but worth the drive.

The Village of Intercourse

Just walk up and down the street and wander into the wonderful locally owned and operated shops.  You’re sure to find something to take home.
